"The devastating impact of the coronavirus on Italy has sparked considerable speculation as to why the country appears to have suffered so disproportionately from the disease."

Here is a story that is finally coming out. This was either unknown or ignored by our media.

"How is it possible that we did not know (about the corona virus)? Consider the scope of the effort involved in suppressing news of an outbreak that was sweeping across an area occupied by literally hundreds of millions of Chinese. This was not a secret effort involving a handful of individuals in some secure facility somewhere. This was an effort stretching from the most senior levels of the Chinese government all the way down to the provincial and district level. Consider the many thousands of individuals who had inside knowledge of precisely what was happening. Consider how many phone calls, emails and other forms of communication were required to orchestrate the coverup of the largest viral outbreak in a century."

The article is a sales pitch for a book but it is a very important topic. On January 9th The WHO reported a flu outbreak in China. But it was fine no person to person transmission they said. When did our Intelligence Agencies know? And when did they communicate this to the Whitehouse?

What is not being talked about is there is this tiny company in Canada, whose subscribers found out about the Wuhan flu on New Year's Day, 2020. There are two links in the first comment that will tell you this tiny company's story.

“All symptoms in the 10 patients, especially fever, cough, shortness of breath, and chest pain, disappeared or largely improved within 1 [day] to 3 [days] upon CP transfusion,” said the study, published in a respected journal called the Proceedings of the National Academies of Sciences.

The study was conducted in Wuhan, China  – where the coronavirus emerged in December – and was led by Kai Duan of China’s National Biotec Group Co. Ltd.

"According to a post on its social media account, Jia county - which has a population of about 600,000 - said that no one can travel out of Jia county without proper authorization. Additionally, residents are not allowed to leave their homes for work unless they have clearance to do so."

We think this is great news. We think it adds to the validity of Dr. Zelenko's protocol in New York. Links to the study are in the first comment.

As the real state of affairs in China, now months into its coronavirus outbreak remains unknown, the country is trying to at least give the impression that things are fine and that it is genuinely interested in helping out the rest of the world. And in terms of faking the notion of helping the rest of the world, China can't even do that right.

This blog's author has done very nice modeling of COVID-19 on a Country basis. We have known and read David Merkel for more than 20-years. He is a statistician and has been an actuary and a bond trader and manager of bond departments for insurance companies. His analysis is very similar to what your state health department uses and what the CDC uses to model epidemic progression in a population. Highly recommended reading.

This is a telling story. This Doctor is worried about incidental travelers' re-kindling epidemic. We think they have very few travelers now so tracking them should not be a problem. We think that this is a propaganda set-up because they really have not gotten all of the problems solved and are going to have to start reporting new infections eventually.  So this set-up is who to blame for the next round. It is just our conjecture at this point but time will tell.

As the country's death toll passes the death toll from mainland China (or the 'official' death toll at least), whispers about even restrictive measures appear to have just been validated: Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte on Friday effectively declared martial law Friday morning in Italy's worst-hit region of Lombardy, claiming that he will now be bringing in the Army to enforce the lockdown, something that the region's governor swiftly confirmed."
